Honoured
Rehearsed with some old fellas for the 1st time in a very long time yesterday, and I got some kind of reality check. When playing with these kind of world class musicians I feel truly honoured to be a part of their fellowship.

Basstracks and photos
I'm done recording basstracks for the new Darkwater album! A lot of work, but I nailed it in time :) 4 of the songs were recorded at Studio29, Örebro, together with Andreas Ohlsson and the remaining 5 songs were recorded at The Grudge, my own studio. The songs are getting the final touch at Studio Fredman as we speak.
We also did a photo session a few days ago, together with the magnificent Lars Ardarve. Since Mr Ardarve took the pictures, they all turned out superior. As always.

Darkwater recordings
Time for some bassbanging on the new tracks from Darkwater. Will record 8-10 songs in the next few weeks in The Grudge Studio. Started recording the 1st track today. So far, so good... Wish me luck! Follow the studio updates here.
(The recordings with my own project, which were scheduled to start in May, are on hold at the moment)...

Things are about to happen! After months of writing songs/ideas, I've finally chosen the 1st tunes to work with for my new band project. So, what's this new project? You'll see :) We'll start the recordings in May. I'm really excited! Stay tuned for more updates.

Small facelift and new stuff
New webdesign (again). I've added some more information to the website since I want this website to be your no1 Simon Andersson source. Interesting for some, annoying for others :) I recently got myself a Twitter page but I have no idea why, really. Another "profile" to update?! I figured I might use it as a "recently looped" feeder, so you'll know what kind of music I listen to. Another new feature for this website is a page called "design". Been designing websites for a while now and thought it was about time to put my portfolio online. Hope you like it!

Lack of updates

New Shallow Sense website
I've designed a brand new layout for the Shallow Sense website. Mikael (vocals) is a dude with great hacker skillz, so he coded it all together. Check it out here! Speaking of which... We're also working with new songs for the album as we speak. Stay tuned.

Wierd
Up and running again. I somehow managed to delete a lot of files during my latest upload. My old entries regarding news are gone with the wind, so I had to recreate some of them from my head. And since I had to start over with most of the stuff on the website, I added some more to it. Hope you like it!

Brainstorm cancelled
Unfortunately we have to cancel the show at Brainstorm Festival. The reason for us cancelling this so close in time to the festival is health/hearing related for Markus. He has been ordered by doctors and specialists to rest for a few months. We ask and hope for your understanding in this matter, we are truly sorry for this and we hope to see you another time soon. -Darkwater
